Leadership blogs I

I've been checking out leadership blogs from 2008 and 2009 "top 100" lists. I graze 10 articles each blog and if it clicks with me, I bookmark it and follow them.

I'm a fan of Ram Charan and Seth Godin but eagerly read other thought-leaders, writers, and practitioners. I hope you find these 3 blogs helpful or interesting. I'll be sharing other faves again soon.

1. Extreme Leadership: http://stevefarber.com/blog/

My top fave this week. Been following Steve Farber's blog for a month. Never heard of him before then and I keep coming back. Am usually cautious of slick sites but his message resonates with me.

2. Linked 2 Leadership: http://linked2leadership.com/

Very smart writing. If you don't find something of personal interest within the first 5 articles, this blog may not be for you. Plenty of good articles so be sure to drill through the site. The contributor column articles are awesome too.

3. Simplicity: http://www.simplicityitk.blogspot.com/

Check out the June 3rd post on receiving feedback. If you've dealt with difficult feedback (via 360 assessment or otherwise), you'll get some insight here and be sure to read the replies.

How about you? What's your favorite, top 3 leadership blogs and why?

Thank you!

I really enjoyed Linked to Leadership -- I read the article: "Your Leadership Limits." The study discussed was interesting and useful. I will definitely follow this one for awhile. Thanks for the recommendation.

Hi Lindsay, thanks for your comments! I had not read that article until your mention and I really enjoyed it too. Very interesting how expectations are set and achieved, yet the level of expectation is not examined. I agree - fascinating study.

I also read the article on Zappos, which is a scroll below yours. As a subscriber to Inc. magazine, I read the same Zappos article, but what caught my attention here was the Bliss photo, my favorite frozen dessert, by far!
